About Resisi

Resisi started in 2016 as a small operation run out of a van in west London. The idea was simple: pool owners in the area needed someone reliable to check water chemistry, clean filters and fix small equipment problems without waiting weeks for an appointment. Ten years later, the company is still small by design, three people, one van, one patch of London, but the number of jobs behind us has grown to 564 across 300 clients.

The founder had spent several years servicing plant equipment for leisure centres before deciding to focus purely on residential and small commercial pools. That background in mechanical upkeep still shapes how the team approaches every visit: check the pump first, then the chemistry, then the surface.

Mission and Approach

The mission has not changed since the first year: keep pools safe to swim in and equipment running without drama. That means arriving when we say we will, explaining what we found in plain terms, and not selling work that is not needed. A cloudy pool usually has one or two causes, not ten, and our job is to find the actual one.

We serve a single area of London rather than spreading thin across the city. Staying local means shorter travel time between jobs, which is part of why a typical enquiry gets a reply within about an hour during working hours.

What Guides the Work

Straight Answers

If a liner needs replacing in two years rather than now, we say so. Clients get a written note after each visit, not just a verbal summary.

Fewer, Better Visits

We would rather set a maintenance schedule that actually matches how a pool is used than sell extra call-outs that are not needed.

Staying Local

Working one area of London means the team knows local water hardness, common shading issues from gardens, and typical seasonal patterns.

Where the Experience Comes From

Ten years covers a lot of seasons. We have opened pools after damp winters, dealt with algae blooms during warm spells, and replaced pumps that finally gave out after a decade of use. Each of the three team members handles a mix of routine servicing and one-off repairs, so nobody is boxed into only cleaning or only fixing equipment. That range matters when a job that looks like a filter problem turns out to be a liner leak instead.

Being a small, three-person team also means consistency: the person who checked your pool last spring is often the same one who comes back in autumn. Notes from previous visits stay with the team rather than getting lost in handovers.

Questions We Get Asked

How far do you travel from your base area?

We currently cover one district of London and its immediate surroundings. If you are unsure whether your address falls within range, send a message with your postcode and we will confirm.

Do you only do one-off repairs, or ongoing servicing too?

Both. Some clients call us once for a specific issue, others set up a recurring schedule. About a quarter of our clients have come back for a second job, which usually turns into a regular arrangement.

How quickly can I get a reply after sending an enquiry?

Typical reply time is around one hour during business hours, Monday to Friday 08:00 to 19:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 13:00. We are closed on Sundays.

Is Resisi a large company?

No, and that is deliberate. Three people handle every job between them, which keeps communication direct and avoids the handover gaps that come with larger teams.
